Creating a DesignUnless your requirement is for basic text created with one of the default fonts there will be some work required by ourselves to create the embroidery file. To achieve this you will have to supply your artwork in any of the formats listed below. Supplying ArtworkThis artwork can be supplied in any of the following formats.

If your design contains fonts that are not part of a standard Windows installation, or represented in the font list we may request you to provide us with a copy of the font for conversion purposes. Design ColoursWe utilise Isacord Polyester thread and have a palette of over 300 colours to choose from to stitch your design. Due to the differences in the way that colours are represented on computer screens, it is not easy to define an exact colourt match from computer graphic files. The best way to match a colour, is to provide us with the Pantone ® references, otherwise printed artwork can assist in the match. Note that due to the limited number ot thread colours available for embroidery , compared to the complete colour palette, it will not always be possible to create an exact match of the colour scheme. LimitationsThere are several limitations in converting a graphic into an embroidery.Font SizesThe smallest font size that we will stitch is 5mm high capitals and is dependent upon the font used. The preferred height is 8mm-10mm which provides a good level of detail in the letters. For our default fonts you can see the size limitations that they can be stitched at.DetailsIt is essential to understand that where you can print a design with a high level of small detail, it may not be possible to recreate the details in an embroidery file. It is also dependent upon the material being embroidered, a cotton shirt will take more detail than a fleece jacket or wool hat. In these instances the design may be better to be reproduced as a transfer applied to the garment. |
